a Harry Potter-verse version of the gen texting/midnight texting meme. interdepartmental memos are not just for work at the Ministry of Magic - they're for misuse in school, or between neighbours, or even from upstairs to downstairs. or perhaps your magical person is so adept at charming a paper plane that it can cross the whole city.

Chris shifts his weight from one foot to the other ever so slightly, trying to keep a level head. He expected chaos, truth to be told. Santi's letters sounded like some chaos is involved. What he didn't expect, neither from letters nor from seeing him at a distance during meals, is now lovely and warm his eyes turn out to be.
