Are you well? From what I've gleaned from bits of conversation your parents are still disapproving though your ventures have been successful, if this is true then I'm so glad to hear it. It almost makes your absence easier to bear, though without you to talk with in the evenings I've very nearly caught up on all of my mending.

We may not see one another for some time after you're home. Your mother's had a letter from one of your cousins and their lead maid has taken ill. I'll be leaving soon for the LeStrange estate to take care of their maid's duties until she's well again. Wish me luck.
