How to play
① Tag in
② Go to RNG and roll 1-10. That's your scenario!
③ Tag around!
④ Have fun. :)
Scenarios
① Transfiguration. Pay attention and maybe your teacup will turn into a whole rat instead of just a furry piece of nonsense! Ask someone for help.
② Potions. Watch out for Snape. How's that nastily complicated brew coming along, by the way? Looks like one of you screwed it up!
③ Charms. A relatively easy class ... when your friend isn't bugging you. The trouble is that you're both having too much fun together to concentrate.
④ History of Magic. ... IT'S JUST SO MUCH FUN. Spice up the lesson with your buddy's help!
⑤ Par-tay in the Common Room. Who the heck knows why it's going on, but you're not missing out on this for anything and neither is your friend! Who cares if they're not from the same House, right?
⑥ Quidditch. Training or playing an official inter-house match? Showing off or just trying to stay airborne? Good luck and don't fall off your broom!
⑦ Detention. Shelling out manky old exoskeletons bare-handed? Re-alphabetizing an entire section of the library all night long? Maybe you're unfortunate enough to have been grouped together in the Forbidden Forest.
⑧ The Astronomy Tower. Whether a late night class or a romantic evening together, the stars are beautiful.
⑨ Hogsmeade. You have a whole day here with your friends! Where will you go and what are you up to?
⑩ The Great Hall. Breakfast? Lunch? Dinner? A feast sure sounds nice, be it for Halloween or Christmas. Celebrate together!
's just gonna be epistolary all the way
That is rich, coming from a former Head Boy. Please allow me my academic enthusiasm - it benefits the whole world! Or it will, as soon as I manage to graduate.
How is the piano? Also, should I prepare anything ahead of your visit? Should I tell any of my classmates to?
Best,
Hermione
pen pals with a crush au, clearly
I don't doubt it. Quite excited to see the size of the dent you make in the world once you're out if I'm honest.
No need to worry about preparing anything, I'm fairly self-sufficient. I've been writing with Minnie for the last few days and I'll be with you in about a week.
Before you ask, she's already said you're welcome to sit in on all the lectures I'll be giving, if your schedule allows.
Don't worry, I won't be out of my room after hours.
Bill
PS: I think that send-off might've sounded creepy.
what kind of RUDE FOOL forgets to reply to this - timeskip
Hello again! I hope you do not mind too much that I am sending you another owl, but I wanted to thank you for having come for those lectures! I asked Ron about whether it would be appropriate to send something, like chocolates or a bottle of butterbeer? In any case I think maybe the gestures of good will I can arrange to send from Hogwarts are limited and childish.
So my written guidance will hopefully be good enough, together with the fact that I've also informed Ron that you are my favourite Weasley and he has been pouting for a week now.
Would it be alright for me to write you again sometime? As NEWTS are approaching, I have to make a few choices on my career post-Hogwarts and I could use someone to talk to who doesn't just think of Quidditch and Aurors.
Best wishes,
Hermione
now i am become the rude fool
Never a bother, they've all had great personalities so far. You don't have to send me anything to say thanks, it was good to get back to Hogwarts, Minnie's thinking of having me back annually now, which I can't say I'm against. There's no shortage of work, and it's always good to see if there's anyone with a knack for it out there, know what I mean?
Not to mention it was good to see you as well, and with that said, of course, you can write, as I said you've got great taste in owls, and penpals as well it seems.
Let me know how I can help,
Bill
[ Additionally he's sent a parcel of various muggle sweets from Egypt, and a book on Curse Breaking that was obviously his, given all the notes and doodles in the margin. He drew a lot of pictures of animals and snacks as a student. ]

Dear Bill,
Hope you're doing well, wherever this owl finds you.
First of all, thank you for the treats. I have to say that I am enjoying how obviously you are trying to poach me onto the Curse Breaker side.
I should also have to say that I wrote to Gringotts yesterday and enrolled in their summer programme. It's an accelerated course, and vastly depends on how I do in my N.E.W.T.s this year, but I think that without a Dark Lord rising and Death Eaters threatening my parents' safety and lives, I'm finding school to be a lot more mellow.
I even managed to surprise the boys with contraband firewhiskey. It's just that I realised we are all eighteen now, and have made it to eighteen, and if there were ever three people who deserved to get pissed and make bad life choices for one night...
I can only say that I am glad the Owlery was so far up the stairs that I have spared you drunken Hermione ramblings.
Yours,
Hermione
