You Are Cordially Invited to the Yule Ball!

How to play
① Tag in
② Go to RNG and roll 1-10. That's your scenario!
③ Tag around!
④ Have fun. :)
Cross-canon/canon/oc's are all welcome! Just note how your character has been invited to the ball or if they're a student! We welcome it all. ♥
Scenarios
① Ask Your Date to the Yule Ball - Invite that special someone or ask your best friend. There is nothing wrong with going as friends!
② Dress Shopping/Dress Robe Shopping - It's time to find that perfect outfit! Or have one mailed to you and ask someone to alter it for you if need be.
③ Getting Ready - It's time to get ready for the ball, do you feel that nervous flutter?
④ Picking Up Your Date - Go and pick up your date, the ball is about to start!
⑤ The First Dance - It's time for the first dance. Are you ready?
⑥ Refreshment Table - Let's hope
⑦ The Courtyard - Need a break from dancing and people? We get that. Go into the courtyard and get a breath of fresh air. Just be sure no teacher catches you making out with your date.
⑧ Wardrobe Malfunction - The absolute worst timing, a wardrobe malfunction! What do you do?
⑨ Chaperone - Are you a chaperone for the evening? How'd you get stuck with that gig? Better make sure the Marauders aren't creating havoc or spiking the punch!
⑩ Free Choice - You know what, you do your thing!
j'adore!
In his defense, her voice was like music and he had been hanging on her every word since the day they'd met. In his defense Fleur's eyes were captivating, a shade of blue he had never seen anywhere else on the planet, and he had never had a reason to linger at Gringott's like he did until she took a job there.
And tonight she was just beautiful. How could anybody think about the stupid things they were at risk of saying in the wake of all this, well, Fleur.
Yes, students might spike the punch and he knew she could rebuff him for his cavalier attitude towards the integrity of the beverage table. He knew that, he did, but maybe she wanted some company in the courtyard and he wouldn't have been a gentleman if he didn't ask.
oh oui oui
Except she realises now that maybe he is a bit of a dork.
"I thought our job was to make sure the students aren't stirring trouble," she points out slowly, like she is explaining it to someone confounded. Maybe he is. Maybe the kids got to him.

"Minne's right there," he tilted his head towards McGonagall, whose steely gaze seemed to sweep over the crowd, taking it all in and missing nothing.
"It's just for a quick smoke," Bill added, taking a step towards her, his elbow stuck out in the hopes she'd take his arm. It was a ball after all. "No reason not to."
no subject
The thing is, she is undeniably attracted to the man. He's affable and kind, and smart, and has goblins wrapped around his little finger with all that efficiency and charm. He makes some things flutter in her chest when he focuses on her. But fancying your sometimes-co-worker who has very likely no interest in you is just such a boring option in life.
If she goes out there with him, alone and dressed up this nicely, she might have to do something ridiculous. Like propose they kiss.
"Alright, a quick smoke together," she murmurs, taking his arm. "I didn't know you smoked." She shakes her head. "Don't tell Gabrielle if you see her - she hates that I kept the habit."
no subject
He couldn't stop casting glances in her direction as they headed out of the Great Hall, pausing after taking a step towards the courtyard. "Better not," Bill said, shifting directions and moving to lead her down another way. "It's quieter on the Quidditch Pitch."
no subject
"Did you play?" she asks as they walk there in the dark. "Or was it just - what do you call it here - being a massive dork? No, it's something else - oh yes, Head Boy." Fully aware of the little jab, she throws him a wide smile, chin up defiantly, almost like she's asking him to tease back.
no subject
"Merlin's beard you're beautiful." Which definitely answered the questions. Massive dork it is.
no subject
"As beautiful as Merlin's beard, or more? You and your English cursing," she teases, then catches sight of him outside, moonlight cast over his features, and stumbles on the next step. Circe, this man - has not managed to not have her fully rapt attention since the time she spotted him at the Triwizard Tournament.
"You should see yourself," she whispers, slipping into French, "you breathtaking man."
no subject
"You flirt," Bill mumbled appreciatively before he kissed her, finally, picking her up off the ground with a satisfied little breath of a growl, parting his lips to let his tongue brush against her bottom lip.
no subject
"Took you long enough," she murmurs, amused, lips not even a hair's breadth apart.
no subject
Best to just keep kissing her then. He might have picked her up off the ground, just a little bit, far too pleased with this turn of events to contain his enthusiasm.
"Too long," he affirmed before his mouth captured hers once more.
no subject
"You two!" comes the sudden voice from a bit away, interrupting this moment of bliss. "Stop playing hooky and get back inside! And Mr Weasley, please see that your sister stop trying spike the punch before I have to expell her."
screams
"Later?"
