Evie had finally decided to follow in her own footsteps and while she may have to conform to those bland and unflattering robes while in classes, you can bet she would take every opportunity she could to be in her preferred blues. She was thankful that her house colors leant themselves to those blues. The only one of them that didn't fit the mold was Carlos. Imagining Carlos in that god awful yellow still made her laugh, not able to help hold it back. "Carlos in that yellow," she said, just to explain her sudden laugh.
"No, I think they have other things in this realm that they're dealing with and it's not some villains children vouched by Queen Belle of Auradon," she said with a smile, looking at Mal. She hoped her first instincts in this were correct. This realm had more magic than theirs did! "Which is completely different than where we just came from." She was glad Mal wouldn't be losing that part of herself. She worked too hard to be who she wanted to be. Or, at the very least, recognizing who she wanted to be.
"A tiny bit," Evie said with a laugh, listening to it reverberating off the walls.
Evie's hands tightened around Mal's. "Forever," she agreed before releasing her hands and giving the other girl a hug.
"So let's see where this hallway takes us. If it's some place cool, we'll bring Carlos and Jay with us next time." If they could remember where it was next time! This play was so much bigger than Auradon Prep. While she knew she was capable of magic, the only magic she had ever done had been with Mal. She was excited to see what she could actually do on her own. Not to mention all of the information and knowledge they could learn!
