Harry stayed quiet as Remus spoke and nodded slowly in understanding. "You would think that by being in his house, he'd be a little less... himself." He paused as he considered something else and just how to word it where it made sense and not accusing anyone. "It's hard enough to be on the receiving end of those grievances at the Dursleys every summer. To have to deal with it here was something I didn't anticipate originally."

However, being at Hogwarts allowed Harry to meet his parent's friends and that was something he would never want to take for granted. He was glad that he had the ability to bond with Remus. A wide grin spread over his face when Remus admitted to also wanting to find a fresh perch for Hedwig. "Brilliant," he said, pushing off the previous subject easily for the time being and focusing on the situation at hand. "She will be happy with a fresh perch if we manage to find one."
