They need to stay away from the Weasleys and not risk that any of the Weasleys slipped them anything in their food or drink. Being in different houses at least makes things a little bit tougher on Molly from trying to do something to them.

"Harry, you need to practice your parsletongue if you think you'll be able to talk this out with her. If we can turn her to our side, you'll have to be the one to speak with her."
Because she knows she won't be able to manage it. It's one thing she can't teach herself. Because she had tried once before.
