"It really isn't right, you know," he said, sending him an amused smirk. "Even when we were teens, at each other's throats, you were annoyingly attractive." He shook his head and walked over to him, pouring a cup of coffee for himself and adding just a little cream and sugar. "I will try not to be offended that I haven't been in your dreams," he teased him and brought the mug up to his mouth before taking a sip.

Teasing and joking were nice, especially when it kept the memories of the nightmares at bay for the moment.
