There's something about working side by side with Harry that Hermione finds comforting. Working together to make sure that things are right, and knowing that she can entirely and wholly trust Harry with everything. There's never a time that she finds she doesn't have faith in him.
So she trusts his silencing spells, and her protection spells, and she pulls out a small bottle, taking a swig before handing it to him. "It's an extra half dose. I'm not saying either of them would poison the food, but I'm not willing to take the chance." And she won't let Harry take the chance either.
"And ready is a strong word, but I can handle this." Her head lifts, looking towards the door. "He's here."
And a moment later Ron comes through the door. He pauses, considering them both. "I didn't realize you were coming at the same time."
