Harry stared into her eyes and nodded, understanding why she did it. "I understand, Professor," he said. Although she hadn't been exactly perfect throughout their school years, at least at the beginning, he always felt that she meant well. And he hoped that she would continue to prove to be a valuable ally to them.

He gave Hermione's hand a squeeze as she explained about Quirrel and slid his thumb over the back of her hand. "I imagine if you haven't been asked yet, you will be very soon, to come up with a challenge."

"Don't underestimate him, he will get away at any opportunity he can get," he warned, hating that they had underestimated him from the very beginning. He stood from his chair and helped Hermione up.
