Harry shared a look with Hermione before walking closer to Professor McGonagall's desk and taking a seat in one of the chairs. "Professor, thank you for agreeing to speak with us," he started.

He scanned the room quickly, knowing they'd need to be sure there weren't any listening devices. He trusted her but he didn't put it past Dumbledore to listen in on his professors.

"Forgive us, Professor but are we safe to speak freely," he hedged, knowing as it stood, they shouldn't be aware of... well all the things they knew about the school and magic. They could run the same spell they used in the carriage but he didn't dare do it yet.
