Harry chuckled and gave her an amused look. "I know what you mean," he agreed with a nod and stayed quiet for a minute. "People... especially in our age group, thought that 'fighting all the time like cats and dogs' was the way you two flirted." He paused as a thought came to him and groaned with a laugh. "I just remembered Draco telling me when we were working together that he fully expected the two of us to end up together. Not with the Weasley's. Because of the potion, I told him he was mad." But Draco hadn't been. Harry had cared about this woman sitting next to him, sharing a piece of cake and a bottle of wine. Had cared and still cared more than he should at this moment, he was sure.

He gave her an affronted look. "They're lucky? No, I'm lucky you liked me so much," he said with a laugh, shaking his head. "But, I like to think we both saved each other over the years - me with my magic skill," he teased her before continuing, "and you with your brilliance and magic." He was just on this end of drunk and very sassy.

"Well, if we ever get the chance, that is something we will change. Can even start making the changes now. I mean... not literally now but you know." Harry picked up his fork again and took another bite of the lemon cake.
