Eldrine wasn't sure how she should take that confession that there was no love lost between Professor Snape and her new Professor but it intrigued her. She laughed and nodded, agreeing that Merula would follow Snape, even if he was less than thrilled with her as well. Later, she would think about Kitiara said about loyalty and wondering exactly where Kitiara's loyalty rested (with Dumbledore? Kitiara herself?). As far as she knew, Snape and Merula seemed to be big fans of Voldemort's... surely that wasn't it.

She smiled, glad that whatever she said would stay in this room. "Thank you," Eldrine said. The last thing she needed was for it getting out that she was being disrespectful to a Professor or about a Professor, as the case may be.

It may have taken her a minute or two longer than it should but Eldrine realized Professor Kitiara hadn't come out and said 'yes' or 'no' to being a vampire. She considered her question for a long moment. "Yes, they would. Or, at least, Professor Dumbledore would." After all, she had visited two cursed vaults now over the last three years and was well on her way to the third. They could have easily put up some kind of barrier to keep errant Hogwarts students out if they truly wanted to. However, if Kitiara was hired, did that mean Dumbledore trusted her? Surely he must, right?
