Holidays in a new life
Getting from London to Denmark had been interesting. Harry existed in the muggle world, but Draco didn't. He had no identity, no identification, and documentation. It meant getting from one place to another took things like magic and invisibility cloaks but in the end they had gotten there.
The cabin was out from the city, close enough to visit but not so much that anyone might try and look for them, to think anyone lived out that way. Draco liked that. They had a cabin to themselves, currently surrounded by snow and, currently, the living room was loaded with bags. Bags of items Draco had acquired in town, looking bright eyed and excited.
He had been healing a lot since they left Denmark. Both physically and mentally. He had lost his mom. He had no one in this world but Harry. Yet he was disconnected from the others by the dragon that was wrapped in ink around his forearm, and they were in another country, far away from them all. If he ever did have a chance for a new life, this was it.
Which was why the decorations. He wanted them to have a life here, to celebrate things he had ignored for years because, honestly, when you were on the run, you didn't have time for Christmas.
